GOVERNANCE
In October 2022, the City Councils of the Cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, and Pismo Beach approved and entered into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement creating the Central Coast Blue Regional Recycled Water Authority (“CCBRRWA”) to provide for the ongoing operation of the Central Coast Blue project. Central Coast Blue is a local water sustainability project that will create a new, high quality, and reliable water supply for our Five Cities communities, even in times of water shortage or drought.
The Authority is governed by a three-member Board of Directors that consists of one representative from each city, as well as one alternate. The Board’s regular meetings will be held quarterly on the first Monday of March, June, September, and December at 5:15 p.m. Meeting dates and locations will be established by Resolution of the Board for the calendar year.
