In October 2022, the City Councils of the Cities of Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, and Pismo Beach approved and entered into a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement creating the Central Coast Blue Regional Recycled Water Authority (“CCBRRWA”) to provide for the ongoing operation of the Central Coast Blue project. Central Coast Blue is a local water sustainability project that will create a new, high quality, and reliable water supply for our Five Cities communities, even in times of water shortage or drought.
The Authority is governed by a three-member Board of Directors that consists of one representative from each city, as well as one alternate. The Board meets on the first Monday of select months starting at 5:15 p.m. If a regular meeting date falls on a holiday, the meeting is held on the third Monday of the month at 5:15 p.m. Meeting dates and locations are established by Resolution of the Board for the calendar year. Please view the Board's 2024 Meeting Calendar for Board meeting dates.
